This special care series focuses on how postures affect health conditions, and using Iyengar yoga to correct body postures and relieve pain.

25 MAY: HEALTHY HIPS & KNEES

Overexercise, injury, osteoarthritis and high impact activities can cause pain, tightness or stiffness in the knees and hips.

You will learn in this session the connection between knees and hips. We will work to loosen up the tightness, relieve pressure and strengthen knees and hips.

1 JUN: BACK CARE & SCOLIOSIS

Bad posture, heavy lifting, slipped disc, and scoliosis can cause pain in the lumbar region.

 

Learn how to keep your spine healthy, how Iyengar yoga helps you to extend, stretch, and activate the spinal muscle. Build up strength and flexibility in the spinal region, as well as ease pain.  

8 JUN: NECK & SHOULDERS

Bad posture, whiplash, degeneration, and accidents can cause tightness and pain in the neck and shoulders.

This session focuses on how to release the tightness in the upper body muscles, shoulders and also release the tension in the neck region. Create space in the shoulders and cervical spine.
